One of Norfolks most regular migrants.
Can occur in any month, mostly between June and October.

Breeding in the UK has never been proven. The larvae feed on various herbaceous plants, but thought unable to over-winter.

Characteristic distinctive set of dark arrow-shaped darts on the forewing, one pointing outwards from the reniform stigma.
